Terms and conditions
This is an English translation for your convenience. If the translation and the Dutch version differ, the Dutch version prevails.
These terms and conditions apply to all quotes and contracts of CRÉER Engineering in the Netherlands: renovation and finishing work for private clients and businesses, and engineering, BIM and drawing work. You receive them with every quote, as a PDF you can keep.

2. Definitions
We: CRÉER Engineering. Client: you, as a consumer or as a business. Consumer: a client who is not acting for a trade or business. Work: what is described in the quote.
3. Quote and price
- You receive a written, itemised quote showing labour and materials per item. The quote is valid for 30 days.
- For consumers, all prices include VAT. Where parts of the work carry different VAT rates (9% or 21%), they appear as separate lines in the quote.
- We work at a fixed price. If we exceptionally agree an estimated price, we will not exceed it by more than 10% without warning you in good time.
- For businesses, prices may exclude VAT; for clients established in the Netherlands, VAT is reverse-charged.
4. Formation of the contract
The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing, for example by signing it or by email. You receive a confirmation or a copy of the signed contract.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers
- If you, as a consumer, conclude the contract at your home or at a distance (for example by email or WhatsApp), you may withdraw from it within 14 days of concluding it without giving a reason.
- You withdraw by telling us clearly, for example by email to info@creeringenieria.com. You may use the model form below.
- We only start work within those 14 days if you expressly ask us to in writing. If you withdraw afterwards, you only pay a proportionate amount for the work already carried out. If the work has been fully carried out at your request, the right of withdrawal lapses.
- For a contract concluded at your home, we ask for no payment during the cooling-off period, except the proportionate amount if you asked for an earlier start.
- If you called us out yourself for an urgent repair, that repair carries no right of withdrawal; any additional work or materials we supply to you during that visit do keep it.
Model withdrawal form (only fill in and return it if you want to withdraw from the contract):
To CRÉER Engineering, Rua Visconde da Luz, n.º 100, 5.º, 3000-414 Coimbra (Portugal), info@creeringenieria.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from our contract for the following work: [description]
Concluded on: [date] · Name: [name] · Address: [address] · Date and signature (paper only).
6. Carrying out the work, schedule and permits
- The start date and number of working days are stated in the quote. If there is a risk of delay, we tell you straight away, with the reason and the new schedule.
- You provide access to the work site, water and electricity and, for an apartment, the consent of the owners’ association (VvE) where required.
- For work that requires an environmental permit (omgevingsvergunning), such as altering a load-bearing wall, we supply the structural calculation and the drawings. That work only starts once the permit has been granted. Municipal fees (leges) are paid by you to the municipality.
- Work on gas appliances such as a boiler or water heater is carried out by a CO-certified company.
- If we deploy workers from abroad, we notify this in advance through the Dutch notification portal (postedworkers.nl). You receive an email about it; the law asks you to check the notification within 5 working days of the start.
7. Warnings
If we see errors or defects in the assignment, in materials or drawings you supply, or in the substrate, we warn you in writing (email or message) and unambiguously, including the possible consequences.
8. Additional and reduced work
We only carry out additional work after your written approval, once we have told you the price. Reduced work is deducted.
9. Handover and handover file
At handover we inspect the work together. You receive a handover file containing, where applicable, the drawings and calculations, a description of the materials and installations used, photos of the work behind the finishes, and information on use and maintenance.
10. Liability
We are liable for defects not discovered at handover, unless they cannot be attributed to us (Dutch Civil Code art. 7:758(4)). Towards consumers we do not limit or exclude our statutory liability. With businesses, different arrangements can only be made expressly in the contract itself.
11. Aftercare
On top of your statutory rights we give a 12-month guarantee on our work: if anything attributable to our work comes to light within that period after handover, we fix it free of charge. This guarantee does not limit your statutory rights.
12. Payment
The payment terms are stated in the quote. We never ask for payment in advance during the cooling-off period of a contract concluded at your home (see article 5). Invoices are payable within the period stated on them.
13. Engineering, BIM and drawing work
For engineering, BIM models and drawings, the deliverables, the number of revision rounds and the delivery time are stated in the quote. You may use the documents supplied for the project they were made for.
14. Complaints
Report complaints about the work or our service as soon as possible via info@creeringenieria.com or +31 6 27 22 08 50. We respond within 14 days. Your rights do not lapse earlier than the law provides.
15. Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies to contracts with clients in the Netherlands. As a consumer you can always bring a dispute before the competent court in the Netherlands. We are not a member of any disputes committee (geschillencommissie).
16. Changes
Your contract is governed by the terms you received with the quote. Version of 31 October 2026.
